Everlane Clothing Review

I ordered the below items on 5/12/2024 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $361.54. View Order Confirmation

1) The Linen Halter-Neck Dress

Brand Label: Everlane

Color/Size/Cost: White / 8 / $96 (Sale Price)

Country: Made in Vietnam

Material: 100% European Flax™ Linen

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits one size too big. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good (the fabric is a soft linen with a soft lining), but I don’t think it’s designed well. The side zipper scrunches and makes the dress look asymmetrical. It would probably be less of an issue if it fit smaller, but I don’t see the zipper lying completely flat. The dress does have a nice weight to it though. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: I fear that the side zipper will bunch up no matter the size. So, although it is made of 100% sustainable fabric and is overall good quality, I don’t think it is worth the price. I also think you could find a similar dress (from Quince for example) for less!

2) The Linen Relaxed Shirt

Brand Label: Everlane

Color/Size/Cost: Sage Green / 8 / $66 (Sale Price)

Country: Made in Vietnam

Material: 100% European Flax™ Linen

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well – it feels comfortable and breathable. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good. It is a soft linen material, and feels thin but durable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: I don’t think it is worth the price. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice-quality sustainable top. However, you could find a similar one for less (at Quince for example).

3) The Original Curvy Cheeky® Jean

Brand Label: Everlane

Color/Size/Cost: Ecru / 30 & 26.5″ Inseam / $88

Country: Made in Sri Lanka

Material: 98% Organic Cotton / 2% Elastane

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well, though on the loose side. There is a small amount of gapping in the waist when I bend down, but none when standing. I personally think these would be a better fit on someone with fuller thighs/legs. As you can see on me, there is bunching/excess material near the crotch. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good. The denim feels pretty thick and is stretchy. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: The price seems fair for the right person/body shape! For jeans that are made from organic cotton and feel durable and good quality, under $100 is great.

4) The Curvy Way-High® Jean

Brand Label: Everlane

Color/Size/Cost: Light Indigo / 30 & 29.5″ Inseam / $118

Country: Made in Vietnam

Material: 98% Organic Cotton / 2% Elastane

everlane curvy way high jeans comparison

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit PERFECTLY. These are the right amount of loose, and are REALLY high-waisted. Most high-waisted pants sit an inch or two below my natural waist (which tend to give me a bit of a front wedgie). These not only come higher up and hit my natural waistline, but there’s still an extra inch of length in the crotch! So, these are GREAT for folks with longer waists/torsos. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is great. The material is on the thicker side and has a slight stretch. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: They are expensive but worth the price. These are one of the most flattering jeans I have ever put on AND are more sustainable than your average pair.

Is Everlane Worth It?

I think they are *sort of* worth it.

The clothing is definitely good quality. Materials are generally thicker/heavier, and the clothes in my order seem well-constructed and sturdy. They are a more sustainable brand, so their clothing is made from better materials.

With that being said, I think they are overpriced. While I can justify buying some of their jeans at their listed prices, the other items seem too expensive. I would stick to their sale items marked 40-45% off, since those prices feel reasonable. It seems that items 50% off or more off are final sale which is unfortunate, so look out for that before buying any sale item!

Everlane has a lot of bad reviews on Trustpilot. People have had issues with international delivery, unhelpful customer service, etc. You may want to read some of those reviews before ordering online from this brand ESPECIALLY if you live outside the U.S.

To wrap up this post, regardless of my experience, be sure to read as many customer reviews as possible. If you found this post helpful in your search for Everlane reviews, please consider sharing this with your friends and commenting (via Reddit) below.
