Let’s cut to the chase. Is flamingo.shop (the women’s clothing shop) a legit website? The quick answer is yes, they are legitimate. I received my clothing order and successfully returned everything for a refund. Now the biggest question is, would I shop here again?

Where is Flamingo Shop located?
According to their Terms & Conditions page, Facebook page, and my Order Confirmation email, they are located in the United States. They are located at the following addresses:

However, according to Facebook’s Page Transparency tab, their business page is run by managers primarily located in China.

According to my tracking information, my order was originally shipped from China. I received my order from a distribution center in New York (United States).

I ordered the below items on 2/11/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $74.66 to Flamingo Technologies LLC via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *FLAMINGOTEC”. – View Order Confirmation
1) 90s Vintage Classic Flare-Hem High-Waist Jeans
Brand Label: Midiross
Color/Size/Cost: Navy Blue / L / $23.99
Country: Unknown
Material: The product page states 70% Cotton / 28% Polyester / 2% Spandex.
Expectation: They are VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. In person, the color is much darker, the rise seems lower, the light markings near the front pockets are virtually invisible, and the thread color looks different.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is terrible and unwearable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well. View my Body Measurements for size reference. Please note that I am wearing 3.5 in/8.9 cm heels.
Keep or Return: I would return these Flamingo jeans.
Even though they are cheap, they are INCREDIBLY thin and crinkly. I would much rather pay twice the price for jeans that don’t feel like a piece of paper.
2) Solid Slant-Pocket Double-Breasted Coat

Color/Size/Cost: Mocha / M / $22.99
Country: Unknown
Material: Different materials are listed in two places:
- Product page- 100% Polyester
- Care label– 65% Cotton / 35% Polyester
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The material is shockingly low quality, it is more orange-colored in person, and it feels like I’m wearing a blanket rather than a coat.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it is the right size but doesn’t fit my body shape well. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Flamingo coat.
The material is exactly like that felt material you would use for a kids’ craft project. It is thin and cheap-feeling, and I already see early stages of pilling. Also, the fit is straight which isn’t ideal for my curvier-shaped body.
3) Plus Lace-Up Denim Mini Dress

Color/Size/Cost: Gray / M / $20.99
Country: Made in China
Material: 73% Cotton / 23% Polyester / 2.5% Rayon / 1.5% Spandex
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. In person, the color is a slightly darker, acid-wash-looking gray, the tie in the front is ridiculously short, and the chest area looks completely different shape-wise.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits about one size too big. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Flamingo mini dress.
The material is stretchy but stiff, and out of the bag, it has that slightly damp feeling to it. It is terribly sewn together, the bust area is unusually wide, and the hems and edges are noticeably crooked.
4) Fleece Tank Top & Shorts PJ Set

Color/Size/Cost: Apricot / M / $14.99
Country: Unknown
Material: The product page states ‘70% Polyester/30% Cotton’.
Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The top looks a little bit shorter in person.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and the top fits a bit big, and the bottoms are one to two sizes too small. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Flamingo pajama set.
I think for the price, the quality is fine since they are pajamas. The material is similar to those fuzzy fashion gloves you would find in the check-out line at Forever 21. It does have a few flaws though; one of the legs is a bit longer than the other, and the straps feel cheap and are not supportive or durable. For the price, again, not a huge deal. For me though, the fit isn’t right proportionally, since the top is a bit big and bottoms are too small.

I received four items (plus a free necklace) in one package at my address in North Carolina (United States). The package originated from China, and I received it from a distribution center in the United States. I was provided a tracking number through LM Parcel.

I emailed support (support@flamingo.shop) to request a full return on February 28th. My request was approved two days later on March 2nd, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on March 5th via UPS and paid a total of $17.40.

Is Flamingo Legit or a Scam?

Reverse Image Search:
Based on my findings, there are MANY other small boutiques/online shops/marketplaces that sell many of the same items as Flamingo. In this case, I believe Flamingo has stolen a lot of product images, such as an image of jeans by the brand Rock & Roll Denim. They also appear to sell more generic wholesale items that are found on other sites.
With that being said, I found several of the same products on Temu, AliExpress, etc. for much cheaper. For example, I found the below two-piece set for $34.99 on Flamingo, and $17.49 on Temu. Based on the reverse image search results, I believe these are likely identical or near-identical items offered at vastly different prices (as opposed to one being a cheap-quality version of the other).
I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I personally would not shop here again.
Even though their prices are very low and customer service was fast/easy to deal with, here are my 5 reasons why I wouldn’t shop here:
- The clothing quality is BAD.
- Most of the items look different from the product images.
- Despite following size charts, sizing seems inconsistent.
- I found a discrepancy regarding material composition. What is listed on the product page is different from the care label. This makes me question how may other products are falsely advertised.
- Based on my research, I believe I can find many of the same products cheaper elsewhere. However, I found what I believe are stolen product images from other brands such as a pair of jeans by the brand Rock & Roll Denim. So, while some of their items probably ARE cheaper on other sites, others may be cheap knock-offs.
Overall. my experience with customer service was good, but everything else about my experience was bad. I advise that you stay away.
