❌ Western Moods is another women’s clothing shop. Strangely, they also list zero products on their website. This leads me to believe that both Western Moods and The Sunday Beach are owned by the same people, and they have stripped both sites of all products. Their About page is basically identical to The Sunday Beach’s.

❌ I was informed on 3/12/23 that the jeans were out of stock. They offered to send me something else or to refund me. I accepted the refund, and I received $43.22 back to my bank on 3/14/23.

What I Received
I received one item. The package came from a warehouse in Cedar Grove, New Jersey (United States).

Return & Refund
- Return requested: I emailed support to request a return on March 27th.
- Return approved: My request was approved on March 28th, and I was provided with the return address.
- Return package mailed: I mailed the package on April 5th.
- Courier and return shipping cost: I used USPS and paid a total of $28.99 for the return shipping.
- Return received by The Sunday Beach: They never received my return. Looking at the return tracking number, it has been ‘out for delivery’ since April 24th (today is May 24th). It keeps getting returned back to the mail center.
- Refund received: I reached out to both The Sunday Beach’s support email and opened a claim with Paypal as a safety measure. I was refunded by the company the next day on May 5th in the amount of $29.44, and Paypal never had to get involved. They previously refunded me the remaining amount due to the out-of-stock item, so I got a full refund. (See image below)

- How accurate is the sizing based on the items ordered? I followed the provided size charts and the items fit as expected. It fits on the larger size and I prefer that since it is a tunic.
- Were there any issues or discrepancies with the payment? No, my Paypal was charged the expected amount.
- Does the clothing have brand tags and sufficient care label information? No, none of the clothing has The Sunday Beach brand tags.

- Was the return request approved? Yes, it was approved. They provided the return address the next day.
- Was customer service helpful and did they offer any return/refund alternatives? Yes, they were very helpful and responded to my emails promptly. They did offer that I keep the items for a partial refund.
- What country is the return address in and what was the return cost? The return address they provided to me is in China. I paid $28.99 for the return shipping.
- Was the refund successful? Yes, I received the full refund on May 5th. Note that the package was never delivered to them, and I reached out to them about this and filed a Paypal claim. They promptly refunded me.
- Did support reach out about any issues with the order? I reached out regarding the above issue, and everything was quickly resolved. The Paypal claim may not have been necessary, however, I was worried about possibly being given a fake address.

- Are their prices fair and are they affordable? Based on the items I ordered, I think they charge too much for the quality. The site is empty, so I cannot determine the overall affordability of their clothing.

- Do they offer free shipping and other discounts? Yes, they offer free shipping for over $69. They also have coupons available.

Note: If my purchased items arrive, I am able to return the items successfully, and I receive a refund in the agreed-upon amount, I am deeming the company legitimate.
Is The Sunday Beach Clothing Legit or a Scam?
Based on my experience, they are legitimate. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, completed a return, and received a refund in the expected amount. The time range for the entire process from the purchase date to the refund date is February 23rd to May 5th.
❌ I did have a ‘possible’ crisis regarding my return never getting delivered to the return address, however, their customer service remained highly responsive, and the problem was averted.
Do I Recommend The Sunday Beach?
No, I do not recommend The Sunday Beach. Based on my order and extremely limited access to their site, my item was too expensive for the quality, and the return address is in China (I live in the United States, and this cost me nearly $30, which is the same price as the item itself). However, on a positive note, I did have a great experience with their customer support.
If you choose to shop here once their site lists products again, always shop with caution. I did find duplicate content on other sites such as About page wording. Shop at your own risk.
