No, they likely are not. They don’t state anything on their site regarding efforts in sustainability.
I can confirm, however, that my items arrived in packaging using 80%+ recycled materials.
When I reached out to customer support and asked if they were sustainable, the support agent replied with one word, “Yes“. They abruptly ended the chat when I asked for elaboration.

1) Crochet Insert Tank Top

Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The material is a bit thinner and more see-through in person.

Keep or Return: I would return this LASCANA tank top.
Though the crocheted area feels sturdy, the main material is thin and see-through, and I see some loose threads and misaligned seams. The price is too expensive for the quality.
2) Pleated Striped Dress

Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It isn’t what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. I was expecting the pink belt to come with it (I thought this was part of the dress) but it is a separate accessory. Perhaps an oversight on my part, but I think the product image is a bit misleading.

While it feels very soft and is satin-like, it is WAY too expensive. Even if it were one size smaller and fit me perfectly, the material just feels too thin and cheaply made for the listed price.
3) Plunge Triangle Bikini Top & Loop Classic Bikini Bottom

It is really cute, and fits almost perfectly! I normally have issues with the front of the bikini bottoms being too narrow and exposing, but these are wide enough. I do wish they were a little higher-waisted though (just my preference). It is also double-layered all around and overall feels like a solid-quality bikini.
4) Scalloped-Hem One-Piece

While it’s a bit pricey, the quality feels pretty good. The fit is also near-perfect! I typically have issues with rompers and monokinis being a bit too short in length, and while these fit ever so slightly short, it isn’t a dealbreaker. Also, the front of the bottoms is wide enough, which I also typically have issues with. Overall, it is a nice laser-cut style swimsuit!

Customer Service Experience
General Responsiveness
I spoke to support twice through their instant chat feature, so the response time was fast.
One of the chat agents I spoke with ended the chat abruptly when I brought up the topic of sustainability. Extremely unprofessional.
Return Details
They provided me with the following return/refund options:
- Happy Returns for a $6.95 return fee (in-person or by mail with a prepaid label)
- LASCANAWallet Credit or exchange for another size and no return fee
Refund Details
After comparing my initial order confirmation total and refund total, I realized they didn’t fully refund the tax I had paid (just by 36 cents). I normally wouldn’t make a fuss over this, but for this review, I reached out to them on September 11th. They said that the tax in their refund is system generated, and it was a mistake. They refunded the difference on September 12th.
Additonally, I asked them about the promotional shipping adjustment and they said:
“As for the $4.95, if you received free standard shipping or discounted expedited shipping and make a return or return your entire order and reduce your order total to below the free shipping threshold, $4.95 would be withheld from your refund and you will be provided a $4.95 E-Certificate for use on a future order. To avoid this, you must keep your order total over the free shipping threshold by doing an exchange”

I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate site. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would shop here again.
Despite the initial issue regarding part of the tax not being refunded, the rude customer service agent, and some of their pricing, I would still shop here again for these reasons:
- Their swimwear is good quality. I am impressed with how they fit (the typical issues I face regarding swimwear and fit are mostly non-issues with these). I am less impressed with their clothing though.
- The return process is really fast, simple, and straightforward since they utilize Happy Returns.
Overall, I am pleased with some of the items in my order, and I would definitely buy more swimwear from them again!
