Let’s dive right in. Is shopcider.com (the women’s clothing shop) a legit website? The short answer is yes, they are legitimate. I received my clothing order and successfully returned everything for a refund. Now the biggest question is, would I shop here again?

They emphasize environmental responsibility through eco-friendly packaging, a clean water process, and the promotion of recycled fabrics.

1) Off-Shoulder Knitted Long-Sleeve Top

Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would keep this cider top.
The material is a thin, soft, and stretchy sweater material. It overall fits well and is flattering. I could size down for a tighter fit, but I like the looser style. It is overall cute and a great addition to my wardrobe.
2) High-Neck Ruched Midi Dress

Keep or Return: I would keep this Cider midi dress.
This is a cute, basic dress. The quality isn’t amazing, but it is fine enough. It feels a bit thin and cheap out of the bag, but considering the flattering fit and price, it’s worth keeping! I also love the side ruching.
3) Toile De Jouy Shirred Ruched Mini Dress

Color/Size/Cost: Blue / M / $26

Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would return this Cider mini dress.
I really like this dress; it is comfortable and flattering. The outer material feels kind of like a sturdy paper towel. It’s a strange texture, but I like it. The pattern is really cute too. I would keep this if it were a size smaller.
4) Yoney Denim Solid Straight-Leg Jeans

Material: 93% Cotton / 7% Polyester
Expectation: They are what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The wash is a bit more blue-colored in person.

Keep or Return: I would return these Cider jeans.
They fit well and the denim is very soft and comfortable (though a bit thin). However, I have two major issues with these. Firstly, the front crotch area has a lot of fabric and folds in an unflattering way (as you can see in the images above). Secondly, the back pockets are too small and far apart. I think this makes the jeans look cheap and unflattering. If you don’t mind the style of the pockets, these might work for you!

Cider appears to be the source of their product images.
I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!

No suspicious information (such as lawsuits or alerts from the Better Business Bureau) was found.
Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would absolutely shop here again!
Here are my 5 reasons why:
- Though they are not entirely sustainable, they have a lot of items that incorporate recyclable materials. Their packaging is recyclable too!
- Their prices are LOW. Not only are they low, but the quality of most of their clothing seems to be okay/decent. Seems like a good deal to me!
- The items I ordered are mostly true to size and arrived as expected.
- My items arrived in just over a week, which is pretty speedy.
- Returns are FREE and straightforward. No annoying back and forth with customer service.
