You came across a cute dress on echoine.com, but question if the company is a scam, right? Well, let me give you a quick answer to the question on your mind. Is Echoine legit? The short answer is yes, they seem to be a legitimate company. I received my order, was approved for a return, and mailed the return package. Assuming all goes well with the refund, would I shop here again?

Is Echoine sustainable?
No, they likely are not. They don’t state anything on their site regarding efforts in sustainability, or ways that they give back to the community. I can confirm, however, that my items arrived in 99% compostable packaging.

My order shipped to me from a warehouse/distribution center in Illinois (United States).

- According to their Terms of Service page, their legal business name is LANGHO TRADE LIMITED.
- According to the Page Transparency section of their Facebook page, most of their page managers are located in China.
- They offer free shipping over $24.99.
- They allow returns within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Non-returnable items include beauty products, gift cards, bodysuits, lingerie sets & sleepwear, swimwear, underwear (including women’s shapewear and body shapers), Final Sale items (30% off or more), and Outlet items.
Echoine Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 10/10/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $184.41 to Echoine (hello@echoine.com) via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *ECH7FBW”. – View Order Confirmation
1) Hoodie Color Block Ruched Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Gray / L / $42.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 95% Polyester, and 5% Elastane.
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return this Echoine dress. While the dress looks cute at a glance, it is WAY too expensive for the quality. I also see stains on the inside zipper, lots of loose threads, and parts of the zipper (the ones on the arms) that should have been trimmed off but were just lazily folded and sewn over. Also, when you raise your arms, you feel squeezing/tightening where the zippers are.
2) Knit Zip Crop Top & Pants Set
- Color, Size, and Cost: Wheat / M / $52.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: The product page states Knit and Polyester.
- Expectation: It isn’t quite what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The color is a different shade of pink, and the texture looks different when compared to the product image.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a knit set you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and the top fits about 2 sizes too big, and the bottoms fit at least 1 size too small. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return this Echoine knit set. It is sewn crookedly and terribly (especially the center seam of the bottoms), the top zipper is not sewn cleanly (the base sticks out from the bottom), it is an atrocious fit for my body, and is DISGUSTINGLY expensive for the quality.
3) Cold Shoulder Bead Midi Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: White / L / $38.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
- Expectation: It isn’t quite what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The blue dotted lines are much more prominent in person, and the neck is much taller (closer to my face) in person.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return this Echoine dress. While the fit is decent and I like the comfortable stretch of the material, it is see-through, the inside edges have weird yellow marks all over the place, there are loose threads everywhere, and it is too expensive for the quality.
4) Ripped Denim Shorts
- Color, Size, and Cost: Blue / XL / $36.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 65% Cotton, and 35% Polyester
- Expectation: They are VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The ripped areas, the material, the thread color, and the wash look WILDLY different in person.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is terrible. They are comparable to a pair of shorts you might find at one of those no-name stores at a strip mall.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits at least 1-2 sizes too big. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Echoine shorts. These are some of the worst-fitting, lowest-quality shorts I have ever seen. They are paper thin, flimsy, look NOTHING like the product image, are sewn crookedly, have tons of loose threads, and are too expensive. Frankly, no amount of money would make these a good deal.

I received four items in one package, and the package came from a warehouse in the United States. I was provided a tracking number.

Note: Their shipping policy states up to 17 business days (including processing time) for standard U.S. shipping.
Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on October 31st. My request was approved two days later on November 2nd, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on November 4th via UPS and paid a total of $6.93.
The refund is pending.

Support Experience
- They got me the return address promptly and offered two different return addresses to pick from. This is great because I can pick the one closer to me and save on return shipping!
- As an alternative return/refund solution, they offered me a gift card equivalent to 60% of the amount I paid + keep the items. I rejected the offer.

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience so far, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, was approved for a return, and mailed the return package. I am waiting for the refund.
With that being said, I personally would not shop here again.
While customer support responded quickly, got me the return information within two emails, and offered two return address options, there are MANY reasons why I would not recommend this shop. Firstly, the clothing is DISGUSTINGLY overpriced for the quality. Secondly, the quality is subpar. Tons of poor sewing techniques, loose threads, areas that needed to be cut that were left in excess and sewn over, see-through fabric, etc. Thirdly, the shorts are an absolute disgrace! The product image for these is some of the worst false advertising I’ve experienced. Finally, the shipping time is LONG. It took 3 weeks to get everything.
