Let’s cut to the chase. Is cherley.com (the dress-focused clothing shop) a legit website? The short answer is yes, they are legitimate. I received my clothing order and successfully returned everything for a refund. Now the biggest question is, would I shop here again?

I ordered the below items on 10/30/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $156.96 to Yike Times Supply Chain Co., Ltd. via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *YIKETIMQM4N”. – View Order Confirmation
1) Embroidered-Print Lace-Up Crop Top
- Color, Size, and Cost: Green / L / $26.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 80% Polyester, and 20% Cotton
Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. Mine is a much lighter pastel green color.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits a bit small. However, sizing up would not fix the issue as it is not ideal for my body shape. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Cherley crop top.
While I like the rougher, curtain-like material, and think the price isn’t bad, there are several reasons why I wouldn’t keep this. Firstly, the straps are too wide. They are close to slipping off my shoulders. Secondly, the ribbon going down the corset is too short. Due to this issue, I have to make the lower waist area tighter (which is too tight) to have enough ribbon left at the top. And lastly, the ribbon is a cheap craft ribbon you could buy at Dollar Tree. A shoelace would have been a better option.
2) Spaghetti-Strap Corset Slit Evening Gown

- Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. It is much more wrinkly and tin-foil-colored in person. It just looks way worse quality in person.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it is the right size but is not the right fit for my body shape. View my Body Measurements size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Cherley dress.
While I love the metallic silver color and the smooth feel of the material, this is one of the strangest-fitting dresses I’ve tried on. Firstly, the bust/torso is WAY too long. I am 5’5″, and this bust is made for someone at least 6’0″ tall. If I were to fully stretch the bust area, the bottom of it would be near my hips. Secondly, the cups are cheaply made, and sit on top of my chest rather than provide support. Thirdly, the straps are short. Even when fully lengthened, they still aren’t very long. They are also really stretchy in a cheap way and offer little support. And finally, for how cheaply made this is, $60 is an outrageous price.
3) Floral-Print Off-Shoulder Lantern-Sleeve Midi Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Blue / M / $35.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: The product page states Polyester. The care label, however, states 65% Cotton, and 35% Polyester.
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. In person, the blue color is duller, and the sleeves/lower ruffles are NOT a translucent mesh like they are in the product image.

Keep or Return: I would keep this Cherley dress.
While the elastic around the arms is a bit tight, and the material feels a bit thin and crinkly, I think it fits in a very flattering way and is stunning. For the price, I think this isn’t bad!
4) Floral-Print Boat-Neck Tiered Mini Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Orange / M / $33.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The product image shows a warmer-toned color scheme.

Keep or Return: I would return this Cherley dress.
While I love the lightweight feel of the dress, it feels really cheaply made. It is extremely thin, both the outer layer and the lining. The lining is as thin as tissue paper and barely covers my behind. The dress also is too short for my liking. I would have to wear spandex shorts underneath to feel comfortable wearing this out in public. For $33, I expect a dress that feels a bit more durable, and wouldn’t blow away in light wind.

I received four items in two packages at my address in North Carolina (United States). The packages came from warehouses/distribution centers in the United States. I was NOT provided with an order confirmation email or tracking information. I had to go to their website, log in, and find my order to get this information.

Note: Their shipping policy states up to 28 business days (including processing time) for standard U.S. shipping.
Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on November 14th. My request was approved two days later on November 16th, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on November 18th via USPS and paid a total of $7.02.
I received a full refund of $156.96 on December 2nd. I received the refund 14 days after I mailed the package. – View Refund Receipt

Note: If your return is international, I recommend printing out the native language version of the return address. For example, if your return is in China, print out the address written in Chinese characters. Tape it on the package next to the provided English address — per the advice of a USPS worker, doing this can help with delivery on the other side. You’ll probably need to ask the support team of the store you purchased from for the native version. They may or may not provide it to you, as it is not mandatory for successful delivery.
Support Experience
- Had to ask for the return address THREE times before they provided it to me.
- They alternatively offered me the following refund/return options:
- Partial refund of $47.08 (30% amount of the item) + keep the items
- Discount code of $78 (about 50% of the item price) + keep the items
- They asked that I provide the reason for the return.
- Interestingly, when I requested a return (I asked them to look up my order using my email since they didn’t send me an order confirmation email), they responded with images of the items I ordered, asking which ones I wanted to return. The images included both the items I ordered from Cherley AND Loragal. After responding that I wanted to return all items from both shops, they responded with this hilariously fake explanation:
- “Dear Customer,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our system has just been upgraded and optimized, during which we were attacked by hackers and sent you the wrong email information. We are Cherley‘s after-sales team and only accept returns of products from this site. If you need to return a product from another site, please contact the corresponding customer service team.”
- “Dear Customer,
Provided Return Instructions:
- Print the attached Return & Exchange form and fill in the “reason for return” and “sign” sections.
- Take a clear photo of the form and then put it into the parcel.
- Send the package and take a clear photo of the delivery note and tracking number.
- After sending the package, kindly give us the tracking number and photos you took. They are necessary for processing the refund.
Return Notes:
- Before returning, please confirm the product(s) you are returning are in original and intact condition. Item(s) should be put in the original bag(s) that have the product code(s).
- The return address is managed by a third-party cooperative company that only handles returns by mail. For any inquiries about your refund, please contact our customer support.

Reverse Image Search:
I found several of the same products on Amazon, AliExpress, Walmart, etc. for much cheaper. For example, I found the below dress for $39.99 on Cherley, and $7.70 on AliExpress. I highly recommend doing reverse image searches when shopping online to ensure you are not getting ripped off.
Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I personally would not shop here again.
Firstly, all of the clothing is mediocre in quality and overpriced. Secondly, some of the items are different than advertised; one of the dresses is made of a different material and is designed a bit differently from the product image. Thirdly, they slipped up and exposed that they also operate Loragal. Their fake excuse of getting hacked and being unaffiliated with Loragal is off-putting and dishonest. And finally, I found many of the same items for MUCH cheaper on other sites like AliExpress.
