Where does Wonder Closets ship from?
According to my tracking information, my order was originally shipped from China. I received my order from distribution centers in Illinois and Florida (United States).
Where is Wonder Closets located?
According to their Terms of Service page and the Internet Archive, they are/were located in France and Hong Kong. They are/were located at the following addresses:
- 15 Rue Des Halles, Paris, France (UMALL TECHNOLOGY S.A.R.L)

Additionally, the Page Transparency tab of their Facebook page states that most of their page managers are located in China; I believe this is their home base/headquarters.
I will only include the older/archived business info if it is within 2-3 years of this review’s publish date. This could be helpful to know if you’re considering shopping at a ‘shadier’ company.

I ordered the below items on 12/8/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $98.96 to Shenzhen Kesiyun Technology Co., Ltd via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *KESIYUN26E4”. – View Order Confirmation
1) Hanging With My Snowman Long-Sleeve Printed Hoodie
Brand Label: Unknown
Color/Size/Cost: Mixed Color / L / $24.99
Country: Made in China
Material: The product page states ‘Cotton Blend’.
Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The color in person doesn’t have a pink tint to it, and the texture/pattern looks different.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is bad but wearable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Keep or Return: I would return this Wonder Closets hoodie.
Though this is inexpensive, I have a few complaints. Firstly, the material feels a bit stiff (mostly non-stretch) and is thin. It wouldn’t keep you warm. Secondly, the print is cute but is blurry. Thirdly, the inside has a SUPER thin fuzzy texture. This will pill and ruin after a few washes. And finally, it is cheaply made overall and I would feel self-conscious (especially of the blurry image) wearing this.
2) Sunflower-Print V-Neck T-Shirt

Color/Size/Cost: As Pictured (Beige) / M / $23.99
Country: Made in China
Material: The product page states ‘Cotton Blend’.
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The pattern doesn’t continue onto the collar like it does in the product image, the color is more white in person, the collar sits differently on me than on the model, and the sleeves look completely different.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is terrible and unwearable. If it weren’t for the VERY poorly constructed collar, it would still be bad, but wearable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits one size too big (I ordered up for a looser fit, but it doesn’t fit in a flattering way). View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Wonder Closets sunflower shirt.
This fits TERRIBLY and looks unflattering. Firstly, the v-neck is doubled-up, and it looks bulky and doesn’t sit right on the body. Secondly, the arms have a lot of extra room throughout the entire sleeve and don’t have any shape. Finally, the material is VERY thin, and the print is blurry. Overall, the material itself isn’t atrocious as it’s relatively comfortable, but everything else about it is.
3) Floral Highland Cow Print Casual Pants
Brand Label: Unknown
Color/Size/Cost: As Pictured (White) / M / $25.99
Country: Made in China
Material: The product page states ‘Polyester’.
Expectation: They are what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The pattern is more washed out and less saturated-looking in person.

Keep or Return: I would return these Wonder Closets pants.
While I like the fit, the soft and lightweight feel of the material, and the print quality, I have two issues with them. Firstly, the material feels like a Dollar Tree shower curtain liner, but less stiff. And secondly, the print/pattern is inconsistent. Many of the animals are dissected in half by a seam or a pocket, and it looks weird. Overall, I would wear these at home since they are comfy, but if I’m going to pay $26, I’d rather find a better-quality pair of bottoms.
4) Vintage Butterfly Flower-Print Casual Dress

Material: The product page states ‘Cotton Blend’.
Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The print is bigger, MUCH blurrier, and placed lower.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is terrible and unwearable. If it weren’t for the EXTREMELY blurry print, it would still be bad, but wearable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Keep or Return: I would return this Wonder Closets dress.
While I LOVE the fit (the off-the-shoulder look, and the flowy and loose fit), this is TERRIBLE quality. The print is the blurriest of all the items I got. It looks low resolution even at a distance, which tells you something. The material is also really thin and feels like a cheap, stretchy polyester.
Shipment Info
I received four items in two packages at my address in North Carolina (United States). The packages originated from China, and I received them from distribution centers in the United States. I was provided tracking numbers through USPS and YunExpress.

Shipping Timeline:
- I placed my order on Fri, December 8th
- My order shipped on Sat, December 30th / Tues, January 2nd
- I received my packages on Tues, January 9th / Fri, January 12th
Total time of 35 days (to receive the complete order)
Their shipping policy states up to 27 business days (including processing time) for standard U.S. shipping.
Return & Refund Info
I emailed support (service@wonderclosets.com) to request a full return on January 17th. My request was approved five days later on January 22nd, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on January 26th via USPS and paid a total of $30.55.
Provided Return Address: 5th Floor, Building 8, 1970 Science and Technology Town, Minzhi Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, 518109 (China)
Return Instructions:
- Please mail the package to the provided return address using your local courier.
After reaching out to support 44 days later regarding the refund (and getting nowhere with them), I filed a claim with PayPal on March 18th. PayPal closed the case in my favor, and I received a full refund of $98.96 on March 31st. – View Refund Receipt

Customer Service Experience
General Responsiveness
They responded to each of my emails within a day. Although, I had to ask for the return address FOUR TIMES before they gave it to me.
Shipment Details
I had to contact support for an update regarding my order since I waited two weeks from the purchase date, and didn’t get any shipment notifications. It took them 8 more days to ship the items out.
Return Details
They provided me with the following return/refund options:
- First Email: “We would like to offer you a refund in the form of cash vouchers amounting to 15% of the product’s value, which is equivalent to $14.84.”
- Second Email: “…we can refund you 20% of the product’s order price and you can keep the products without returning them.”
- Third Email:
- “…would like to offer a 25% refund for the product instead of returning it.”
- “…if you still want to return them, please send them to the following address.”
Refund Details
This entire experience has been very annoying and bizarre. Fortunately, I won the PayPal claim, but here is how everything went down.
I requested a return on January 17th, and mailed the package to China on January 26th. 44 days after mailing the package, I reached out to Wonder Closets to find out the status of the refund – they responded with:
“Once we receive the return package and confirm its contents, we will be happy to apply a full refund for you. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.”
So, I checked the return tracking information and discovered that the returned items had been held at customs since February 15th. They have access to this tracking information, so they intentionally didn’t pay their import taxes.
At this point, I filed a claim with PayPal. Shortly after doing this, I received FOUR EMAILS from them completely unprompted and without any response from me:
- Support (on March 25th & 26th): “We are deeply sorry for the bad shopping experience you have. To resolve your issue as soon as possible, could you please kindly close the dispute first, then we can arrange the refund for you? Our refund application will be rejected when your order is in dispute status, we cannot refund you successfully. Please hope you can understand. Many thanks for your patience and kindness.”
- Support (on March 27th & 29th): “Hope this email finds you well. Thanks for returning the items to us. We are deeply sorry for the bad shopping experience you have. It is brought to our attention that you have a dispute case regarding your order, we take it very seriously and hope to resolve the matter as soon as possible. We would love to issue the refund for you, but since your order is in dispute status, our account is frozen by Paypal; we cannot process the refund for you. So could you please kindly close the dispute case and then we can arrange the refund to you as soon as possible? We will try our best to help you solve the problem. Please hope you can understand. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.”
A company asking you to close an active dispute/claim in order to refund you is a MASSIVE red flag that they are a scam. DO NOT close any dispute/claim, as you most likely won’t be able to re-open it should they not follow through with their ‘promise’ to refund you.
Is Wonder Closets Legit or a Scam?

Reverse Image Search:
Based on my findings, there are MANY other small boutiques/online shops/marketplaces that appear to sell many of the same items as Wonder Closets.
Possible reasons for this include the use of the same suppliers, this shop operating as a wholesaler or marketplace, the same owner operating multiple stores and/or selling on multiple platforms, the use of stolen images, etc.
With that being said, I found several of the same products on Amazon, Temu, etc. for much cheaper. For example, I found the below shirt for $19.99 on Wonder Closets, and $6.69 on Temu. Based on the reverse image search results, I believe these are identical/near-identical items offered at vastly different prices (as opposed to one being a cheap-quality version of the other).
I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!
Website/Company Search:
No suspicious information (such as lawsuits or alerts from the Better Business Bureau ) was found.
However, there is a surprisingly large number of positive reviews on Trustpilot. I believe these positive reviews are fake or dishonest/incentivized because there is NO WAY they should be rated so highly.
Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, this company is a scam. I returned my items to the address they provided, and they refused to pay their import taxes upon arrival. As a result, my return sat in customs for several weeks, and they refused to provide me with a refund since they never received the items. I filed a claim with PayPal and won – I received a full refund.
Additionally, the clothing is low-quality, it took over a month to get everything, the return address is in China, and I found many of the same items for cheaper elsewhere.
Overall, I had a horrible experience and I HIGHLY advise that you stay away.
