1) Maxi Long Elegant Ethereal Tulle Evening Dress

Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would return this Ever-Pretty tulle dress.
I first want to point out that for a formal dress that could be worn to a prom or wedding, this is not bad at all for under $60. At that price/budget, I don’t expect extravagance or excellent quality. It’s double-layered, the embroidery details look pretty, the style is nice, and it is comfortable enough.
With that being said, it is both too big and objectively not the best quality. It feels cheap to the touch, the outer mesh material feels rough and a bit scratchy, and the small rhinestones on the bust are cheap-looking.
2) A-Line Pleated Chiffon Tie-Waist Evening Dress

Keep or Return: I would return this Ever-Pretty chiffon dress.
As with the previous dress, I want to point out that for a formal dress that could be worn to a prom or wedding, this is not terrible for under $40. At that price/budget, I don’t expect extravagance or excellent quality. It’s double-layered, has nice details, and is comfortable enough. There are some flaws with this dress, however, that I personally can’t/am not willing to make work.
Firstly, it is not the right size. The bottom half fits okay but the bust is very roomy. Secondly, it is incredibly static-inducing. I do not want to deal with ‘making this work’ if I want to feel good at a formal event. Thirdly, it feels thin and flimsy all over. And finally, the pads in the bust sit 1-2 inches too high. Unfortunately, they are sewn in, and the only way to fix this would be to cut and re-sew the pads. With these issues, I’d rather bump up my budget to $60 and get a dress that is easier to deal with.
3) Spaghetti Strap Mermaid Pleated Deep V-Neck Wedding Dress

Keep or Return: I would return this Ever-Pretty mermaid wedding dress.
I think most women would agree that no matter the budget, a wedding dress should at least look good from a distance. Well, as much as I want to like this dress for under $100, it unfortunately falls short in a critical way. Since most wedding dresses are white, I would expect a shop that specializes in bridal gowns to make sure their dresses aren’t see-through! It is double-layered, but they either need to make it triple-layered or need to use a thicker material. Additionally, the material is cheap-feeling (it is quite stretchy which is a bit odd). This is something I could overlook if it weren’t see-through.
Just to throw in a few pluses, I love the mermaid style, and the fact that you can go braless!

I emailed support (customerservice@ever-pretty.com) to request a full return on January 25th. My request was approved two days later on January 27th, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on February 3rd via USPS and paid a total of $11.69.

- Please write the RMA# (provided) clearly on the front of the package (helps us identify your return).

They responded to me fairly quickly (within a day or two) and got me the return address after just one ask.
Refund Details
I followed up with support regarding the refund since it had been over a month. They responded with:
“We have yet to receive the receipt showing the tracking number & postcode as listed on the return instructions. It was stated in our return instructions to send us a copy of the receipt showing the tracking number so we can proceed accordingly. Please take a photo of the receipt showing the tracking number and kindly attach it to your next email to us. We will then process your request once confirmed.”
Historically, I’ve only ever sent tracking numbers. In this case, they require both the tracking number and receipt.
Is Ever-Pretty Legit or a Scam?

Reverse Image Search:
Based on my findings, there are MANY other small boutiques/online shops/marketplaces that appear to sell many of the same items as Ever-Pretty.
In this case, since Ever-Pretty also sells wholesale, I believe they are the source of their product images.
Possible reasons for this include the use of the same suppliers, this shop operating as a wholesaler or marketplace, the same owner operating multiple stores and/or selling on multiple platforms, the use of stolen images, etc.
With all of that being said, I found the same dress on SHEIN for much cheaper. Ever-Pretty is charging $67.99 on their main site, $39.99 on SHEIN Marketplace.
I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would *conditionally* shop here again.
Let me state the positives first. All of the dresses look as expected, my order arrived VERY fast (5 days), the return process is quick (they didn’t hassle me at all), and they offer some great budget options for formal events ranging from prom to a wedding.
Now, for the negatives. Firstly, the quality is just okay. Most of their dresses are under $100, so it makes sense that they aren’t bridal shop quality. Secondly, I followed the size charts yet all three are a full size too big. Thirdly, they sell their dresses on SHEIN Marketplace for cheaper, so it would be sensible to check there first before purchasing from ever-pretty.com. And finally, because they are just okay-quality, you are likely to run into issues like a partly see-through wedding dress or a dress that creates a lot of static.
Overall, I had a decent experience. For future purchases, I would size down, and stay away from white or light-colored dresses. If I want a light-colored dress, I would opt for the more expensive ones (my wedding dress was around $85, and they have a few running over $200). As for non-wedding gowns, I think that for prom and bridesmaids, most of these cheaper dresses would work fine. However, pay attention to material composition to help avoid anything overly static-inducing.
