No, they likely are not. According to their About page, they allegedly place great emphasis on ethical production, prioritize workers’ rights, promote fair compensation, and claim to give back to society by contributing money to their local government for the medical treatment of COVID-19 patients. Since they don’t substantiate any of these sustainability claims, I am inclined to think they are green-washing.

According to their Contact page and Facebook page, they are located in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and the United States. They are located at the following places:

- According to their Facebook Page’s Transparency section, their business page is run by managers primarily located in the Philippines.
- Read this List of Online Stores that the owner of Ryabe most likely owns as well. This list has been compiled using clues like matching Google site logos, PayPal merchant names, business addresses, site layouts, etc.
- According to their product pages, they have warehouses in the U.S., CAN, U.K., and AUS.
- They allow returns within 30 days of delivery. Their Return policy states that they only accept returns if there is a quality issue. Despite this, they let me return my items.
Ryabe Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 6/12/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $142.97 to Dress Fashion (service@indiefit.com) via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *DRESSFASHIO”. – View Order Confirmation
1) She Loves You Daisy Cardigan
- Color, Size, and Cost: Grey / L / $42.99
- Country: The product page states that this was made in the United States.
- Material: The product page states Cotton / Acrylic.
Expectation: It isn’t what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The material texturally looks different in the product image, and the grey color is a bit lighter in person.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is okay. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits a bit loose (I like it this way). View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Ryabe cardigan.
While I do like the embroidered flowers, fit, and softness of the material, it is WAY too expensive.
2) Orange-Print Two-Piece Set
- Color, Size, and Cost: Orange / M / $56.99
- Country: The product page states that this was made in the United States.
- Material: The product page states 45% Elastane / 55% Rayon.
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The material is much thinner and crinklier in person, the navy blue is much darker in the product image, and the material is non-stretch despite claiming to have almost 50% elastane.

Keep or Return: I would return this Ryabe set.
Though it fits pretty well, the material is NOTHING like what I expected (much cheaper quality and has more sheen), and I spotted some loose threads. For how cheaply made it is, it is WAY too expensive.
3) Turquoise & Orange Hawaiian Vacation Wrapped Mini Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Blue / Small / $42.99
- Country: The product page states that this was made in the United States.
- Material: The product page states 40% Elastane / 60% Rayon.
Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. It is much thinner and crinklier in person, the orange color is more faded in person, and it is not at all stretchy despite claiming to be 40% elastane.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits half to one size too small. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this Ryabe dress.
Don’t get me wrong, it is really cute (and if it were one size bigger, it would fit pretty well). The material, however, is very thin and non-stretch, and the dress overall is cheaply made. With that being said, this dress is WAY too expensive.

I received three items in one package, and the package came from a warehouse in the United States. I was provided a tracking number.

Note: Their shipping policy states up to 20 business days (including processing time) for standard U.S. shipping.
Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on June 24th. My request was approved five days later on July 3rd, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on July 4th via USPS and paid a total of $6.92.

Support Experience
- I had to ask for the return address FOUR times before they provided it to me.
- When I asked for the return address, they first offered a $36 refund + keep the items, then they bumped it up to $65, then $96, then $110. I rejected all offers.
- They provided me with the refund very quickly, the day after I mailed my items.

- On 6/20/23, I checked the tracking number and shipping history for my order from Valanio (same seller as Ryabe). A message was displayed on USPS’s site saying that counterfeit postage was used. Read this Counterfeit Postage FAQ by USPS for more information.
- Some of the product images have very obviously photoshopped patterns and designs on them.
Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, this company is a SCAM. While I was able to go through the purchase and return process successfully, I discovered that they use counterfeit postage. I checked the USPS tracking log for a purchase I made with Valanio (same seller as Ryabe) and I was warned about this. I personally will not be buying from any merchant that follows unlawful practices.
