Who is Finesse? According to their About page, they are a company that proudly rejects traditional beauty standards and gender norms. With a majority of female and LGBTQ leadership, the brand strives to create fashion for everyBODY. They believe that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and forms and aim to create clothing that is inclusive and diverse. Their sizing ranges from XS-3X, ensuring that everyone can find a piece that fits them perfectly.
Brand FAQs
What is Finesse’s seller name, and do they run any other online stores? The seller name shown on my PayPal account is FINESSE US Inc. I am unsure if they operate other online stores, but I will update this section if I learn anything new.
What is Finesse’s legal business name? According to my PayPal transaction, their legal business name is FINESSE US Inc.

What does Finesse sell & do they carry plus sizes? They list categories for women’s tops, bottoms, outerwear, sets, accessories, dresses, and more. They sell a lot of leather items (which are exclusively vegan) as well! They carry plus sizes up to 3X.
Where is Finesse located & what is their business address? According to a marketing email, they are located in the United States. In the small print in the footer, they list their business address as – 734 S Main Street Floor 4 Los Angeles, California 90014.
Where is Finesse’s clothing made & where does their clothing ship from? All three items in my order were made in China. My package was shipped from a warehouse in Gardena, California (United States).

How long has Finesse been in business? According to a domain age-checking tool, their website was created in 2018.
Is Finesse a sustainable brand? According to their About page, they are an AI-Driven fashion house making strides in sustainable fashion practices. By utilizing a series of proprietary AI algorithms and customer votes, they are able to determine what to produce and in what quantities, ultimately reducing overproduction and waste. Through hyper-optimization of their supply chain, they are able to create stylish and trendy clothing in a more ethical and cost-efficient manner than their competitors. This allows customers to purchase high-quality fashion at affordable prices without contributing to the detrimental effects of fast fashion on the environment. Thank you for your message! The fashion industry has spent millions and millions of dollars in the last decades framing the sustainability question as a fabric rather than an overproduction issue. However, that could not be further from the truth. Many of the “sustainable” companies out there just tout better fabrics, but still create thousands of a certain style to have enough quantity for them to get better prices and ultimately enough margins. The root problem – overproduction – which is the #1 issue in the industry, still remains. No matter how great your materials are, if you overproduce and burn them or send them to landfills, your pollution remains largely the same. The outsized factor contributing to pollution in the industry has always been the mind-boggling overproduction.
We therefore truly are the first company actually tackling sustainability in a non-greenwashing way and strongly hold the conviction that all other companies (particularly fast fashion companies and companies that call themselves sustainable to date) mislead the public. I believe we should explain this much clearer on our website and I’ve already sent through a request to our team to work on this on our about page.

What I Received
I received three items in one package, and the package came from a warehouse in Gardena, California (United States). The items match what is on my order confirmation email.

Return & Refund
- Return requested and approved: I completed a return request for all items via their return portal on June 18th. It was instantaneously approved, and I was provided a return label.
- Return package mailed: I mailed the package on June 21st.
- Courier, return cost, and destination: The shipping label is through USPS, and Finesse provided it for free. They only deducted a $3.95 handling fee from my refund total. The return address is in California (United States).
- Return received by Finesse: Almost immediately after dropping my package off at the post office, I received an email from Finesse saying that they were notified that the package was mailed. Another email came through shortly after letting me know they had refunded me ALREADY.
- Refund received: I received $131.19 (full refund minus the small handling fee) to my Paypal on June 21st. (See image below)
Total time from request to refund: 3 days

- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting. The only difference is that in the product image, the front flap is folded differently.
- Quality: The quality is between just okay and good. There are a few loose threads. It is comparable to a slightly nicer-than-average jacket you might find at H&M.
- Fit: It fits well. I followed the size chart.
- Value: This jacket is overpriced. I would pay $40 at the most.
- Color: Black Acid-Wash

- Material: 96.5% Cotton; 3.5% Viscose

- Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part. This one looks really different from the 3D image, but does match the product images showing people wearing it.
- Quality: The quality is pretty good. It is comparable to jeans you might find at Express or Gap.
- Fit: They fit about two sizes too small. I followed the size chart.
- Value: These jeans are fairly priced.

- Material: 100% Polyurethane

- Expectation: It isn’t quite what I was expecting. In the 3D image, the material looks more textured and somewhat metallic. In person, it looks like a shiny tablecloth.
- Quality: The quality is okay. It is a bit thin and crinkly. It is comparable to a top you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: It fits well. I followed the size chart.
- Value: This top is fairly priced.

- Did the order arrive on time and as expected? Yes, the package arrived within the estimated time frame, and the items arrived as expected.
- Did they let you know when the items shipped and did they provide a tracking number? Yes, they sent me an email letting me know that the order was on the way. They provided the tracking number.
- What is the general quality of the items ordered Based on my order, I would rate the general quality of Finesse’s clothing 3-3.5 out of 5 stars, which is decent. In other words, if fairly priced, I would be happy with the clothing.
- How accurate is the sizing based on the items ordered? Based on my order, two out of three items run on the small side, while the other fits well. I referenced the size charts.
- Were there any issues or discrepancies with the payment? No, my PayPal was charged the expected amount.
- Does the clothing have brand tags and sufficient care label information? Yes, all the clothing has Finesse brand tags and standard care labels.

- Was the return request approved? Yes, it was approved instantly, through their return portal.
- Was customer service professional and easy to deal with? I did not need to reach out to support since I could handle the return through the return portal. The return portal was really straightforward and quick.
- Did customer service offer any return alternatives? In the return portal, they offered to provide my refund in the form of store credit. The incentive they offered was a bonus amount of store credit, I believe it was $5.
- What country is the return address in and what was the return cost? The return address is in Compton, California (United States). They provided a free return label.
- Was the refund successful? Yes, they refunded me shortly after dropping the package off at the post office.
- Did support reach out about any issues with the order? No, there weren’t any issues with the order.
🌐 Company & Site Related
- Are they sustainable? They claim to be sustainable on their site, and since they have provided some level of detail regarding this, I have reached out to get more information.
- Are their prices fair and are they affordable? Based on my order, I think they, for the most part, charge fair prices for the quality. Affordability-wise, the clothing is overall very affordable. The average cost of a top is around $25.
- Is there anything important to know regarding any of their policies? While the return shipping is free (for both domestic and international orders), they will deduct a $3.95 handling fee from your refund.
- Do they offer free shipping and other discounts? Yes, they offer free shipping on orders over $75. I don’t see any coupons available.

Based on my experience, they are legitimate. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, was successfully approved for a return, and mailed the package. I received the refund quickly after dropping the package off at the post office.
Do I Recommend Finesse?
Yes, I recommend Finesse. Based on my order and overall experience:
- My items are good quality and fairly priced.
- Their shop is generally very affordable.
- Returns and exchanges are free and easy for both domestic and international orders.
- Domestic shipping is fast (less than two weeks).
- They appear to be somewhat sustainable (I am inquiring about this).
- They seem to be an honest company (further investigating).
