So you’ve stumbled upon fanka.com and you’re hesitant to make a purchase, right? Believe me, I understand. To quickly answer your question: Is Fanka legit? Yes, they are a legitimate company. I received my order, returned everything, and got a refund. But, would I shop here again?

Their innovation processes focus on finding the best fabric performance to ensure comfort, convenience, and versatility.
Is Fanka sustainable?
No, they likely are not. They don’t state anything on their site regarding efforts in sustainability, or ways that they give back to the community. I can confirm, however, that my items arrived in recyclable packaging.

However, according to the Page Transparency section of their Facebook page, their business page is run by managers primarily located in China.

Fanka Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 10/4/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $237.98 to Fanka via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *F6U6G”. – View Order Confirmation
1) Body Contour Set: Jacket
- Color, Size, and Cost: Black / M / Jacket and Leggings Set: $173.99 Separate: $109.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 75% Polyamide, and 25% LYCRA
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good. It is comparable to an activewear jacket you might find at Victoria’s Secret.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would keep this Fanka jacket. I love the smooth, and breathable material, the semi-roomy pockets, and the long sleeves. It overall feels well made. An interesting thing to note is that the white lines are 3-D. They feel squishy and fuzzy. While they are firmly attached to the material, I could peel them off if I tried. This does make me feel concerned about how many washes this could take before they come off.
2) Body Contour Set: Leggings
- Color, Size, and Cost: Black / M / Jacket and Leggings Set: $173.99 Separate: $94.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 75% Polyamide, and 25% LYCRA
- Expectation: They are exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good. They are comparable to activewear leggings you might find at Victoria’s Secret.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits one size too small. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Fanka leggings. While I love the no-front seam, the butt-lifting shape, and the contouring compression, the lines pointing down at my crotch are a little bit weird visually, and they are too small. If they were one size bigger, I would probably keep them. These also do a great job of lifting your butt. They give me a noticeably perkier profile. As with the jacket, the white lines are 3-D. I worry about how many washes these could take before the 3-D lines start to come off.
3) Body Sculpt 7/8 Leggings (Reversible Wear)
- Color, Size, and Cost: Barrier Reef / M / $63.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 70% Polyamide, and 30% Elastane
- Expectation: They are exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is good. They are comparable to activewear leggings you might find at Victoria’s Secret.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits a bit small in the waist, but I think sizing up would be too big overall. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Fanka leggings. The two things I like about them are that they are reversible, and they do provide a bit of butt lift. As for the negatives, firstly, front seams tend to ride up into my crotch (these are no exception). Secondly, these feel a little bit thinner than the body contour leggings, and I prefer thicker and sturdier leggings (as opposed to ones that feel like a second skin). Thirdly, the waist is a bit tight, but sizing up would likely be too big everywhere else. And finally, I personally don’t like bright-colored leggings due to how visible everything is (sweat, body shape, etc.).

Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on October 14th. My request was approved two days later on October 16th, and I was provided with a prepaid return label. I mailed the package on October 17th via UPS. The prepaid return label is completely free per their return policy.

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would shop here again!
The overall quality is quite good! My primary issues with the activewear are that the sizing seems a bit small (for the bottoms), and the prices seem a little high. I would be willing to pay the higher price tag if the leggings fit me perfectly though.
I would personally stay away from their leggings with front seams. I have tried many leggings with front seams from Amazon, and some of those fit better than this blue Body Sculpt one I got. I think because this is a hybrid of shapewear and activewear, the fit is a bit unique (and in my case, not great). So, if you are prone to those front seams riding up, stick to their seamless leggings like the black Body Contour one.
