Let’s dive right in. Is rihoas.com (the Hong Kong-based clothing shop) a legit website? The short answer is yes, they are legitimate. I received my clothing order and successfully returned everything for a refund. Now the biggest question is, would I shop here again?

Is Rihoas fast fashion?
Yes, they are. On their homepage, they specifically state, “Stay up-to-date on the chicest everyday style trends…” Keywords like ‘trends’ are giveaways.
Additonally, according to their About page, they claim to incorporate 20% sustainable fabrics in their products and plan to improve their supply chain and production processes, with the ultimate goal of having more than 90% of their products made from sustainable fabrics by 2030. Since they don’t substantiate any of these sustainability claims, I am inclined to think they are green-washing.

Where does Rihoas ship from?
According to my tracking information, my order was originally shipped from China. I received my order from a distribution center in California (United States).
Where is Rihoas based?
Their company is based out of Hong Kong and China. They are located at the following addresses:

I put this list together using plagiarism tools like Copyleaks (premium), and looking for clues like identical landing pages (About Us, Contact, Return Policy, Shipping, etc.), matching Google site logos, PayPal merchant names (if there are similarities to my other orders), business addresses, site layouts, etc.

I ordered the below items on 9/30/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $164 to Rihoas.com via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *RIHOASLDKJ”. – View Order Confirmation
1) The Blue High-Waisted Straight-Leg Jeans
Brand Label: Rihoas
Color/Size/Cost: Blue / M / $47.00
Country: Made in China
Material: 75% Cotton / 14% Polyester / 11% Viscose
Expectation: They aren’t what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. They are a lighter blue wash in person.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality of the materials overall is okay, however, it is poorly constructed (the back seam and pockets are very crooked). See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Keep or Return: I would return these Rihoas jeans.
While I like that the denim has a slight stretch to it and feels soft and flowy (not stiff), it fits too small in the waist and the back seam is really crooked. I am going to assume that I just got a faulty pair, but these are unwearable due to that defect.
2) The Romance Cable-Knit Crew Sweater
Brand Label: Rihoas
Color/Size/Cost: White / M / $34.00

Material: 50% Viscose / 28% Polyester / 22% Nylon
Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would return this Rihoas sweater.
I love how soft and stretchy the material is, and I like the style, however, it is too big. It is incredibly stretchy, so sizing down would not be an issue. Also, the wide square neck makes my bra straps visible. This issue would potentially be fixed with a smaller size.
3) The Black Tweed Plaid Single-Button Shorts
Brand Label: Rihoas
Color/Size/Cost: Black / M / $31.00
Country: Made in China
Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. It is thinner and flimsier-looking in person.

Keep or Return: I would return these Rihoas shorts.
The back seam is crooked, the pattern isn’t aligned, there are some long, uncut threads on the inside of the zipper, the material is thin, and I think these are a bit pricey considering the overall quality. The metal button and general fit are the only positives.
4) Puff-Sleeve Split-Hem Midi Dress

Color/Size/Cost: White / M / $52.00

Material: 70% Cotton / 30% Linen
Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would return this Rihoas dress.
I love the linen material (it feels good quality) and it overall has a nice weight to it. I also love the smooth and soft inner lining. But, I have two issues with this dress. Firstly, it is quite big on me. One size smaller would probably fit perfectly. And secondly, the elastic in the arm cuffs is slightly tight around my arm. If I were to size down to a small, I suspect the elastic would be too tight for me to comfortably wear.

Rihoas appears to be the source of their product images.
I highly recommend doing Reverse Image Searches when shopping online for price and quality checking purposes. You might be surprised at what you find!
Website/Company Search:
No suspicious information (such as lawsuits or alerts from the Better Business Bureau) was found.
Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would *conditionally* shop here again!
While the shorts and jeans are disappointing, and the sizing is all over the place, I find the quality of the dress and sweater to be good, the prices overall seem fair, and the returns are domestic (in the U.S.).
Overall, my experience was fine, but I am a bit disappointed with the items in my order. For future purchases, I would probably buy this brand from Amazon since the entire process is faster/easier. I would rely on customer reviews to ensure the sizing is as expected and stay away from purchasing bottoms.
