Is Rihoas fast fashion?
Yes, they likely are. According to their About page, they claim to have incorporated 20% sustainable fabrics in their products, ensuring that they remain affordable. They also mention planning to improve their supply chain and production processes, with the ultimate goal of having more than 90% of their products made from sustainable fabrics by 2030. Since they don’t substantiate any of these sustainability claims, I am inclined to think they are green-washing.

My order was shipped to me from a warehouse/distribution center in California (United States).
Where is Rihoas based?
Their company is based out of China. They are located at the following places:

Rihoas Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 9/30/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $164 to Rihoas.com via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *RIHOASLDKJ”. – View Order Confirmation
1) The Blue High Waisted Straight Leg Jeans
- Color, Size, and Cost: Blue / M / $47.00
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 75% Cotton, 14% Polyester, and 11% Viscose
- Expectation: They aren’t quite what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. They are a lighter blue wash in person.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent. They are comparable to a pair ofjeans you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they are about 1 size too small. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Rihoas jeans. While I like that the denim has a slight stretch to it and feels soft and flowy (not stiff), it fits too small in the waist and the back seam is really crooked. I am going to assume that I just got a faulty pair, but these are unwearable due to that defect.
2) The Romance Cable Knit Crew Sweater
- Color, Size, and Cost: White / M / $34.00
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 50% Viscose, 28% Polyester, and 22% Nylon
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent. It is comparable to a sweater you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits about 1 size too big (personal taste). View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return this Rihoas sweater. I love how soft and stretchy the material is, and I like the style, however, it is too big. It is incredibly stretchy, so sizing down would not be an issue. Also, the wide square neck makes my bra straps visible. This issue would potentially be fixed with a smaller size. If this fit a bit more snuggly, I would keep it.
3) The Black Tweed Plaid Single Button Shorts
- Color, Size, and Cost: Black / M / $31.00
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. They are comparable to a pair of shorts you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Rihoas shorts. Firstly, the back seam is crooked. Secondly, I dislike that these weren’t sewn carefully in terms of pattern alignment. Thirdly, there are some long, uncut threads on the inside of the zipper. Finally, I think these are a bit pricey considering the overall quality. The metal button and general fit are the only positives.
4) Puff Sleeve Split Hem Midi Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: White / M / $52.00
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 70% Cotton, and 30% Linen
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is pretty good. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Express or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it is 1 size too big. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return this Rihoas dress. I love the linen material (it feels good quality) and it overall has a nice weight to it. I also love the smooth and soft inner lining. But, I have two issues with this dress. Firstly, it is quite big on me. One size smaller would probably fit perfectly. And secondly, the elastic in the arm cuffs is slightly tight on my arm. If I were to size down to a small, I suspect the elastic would be too tight for me to comfortably wear.

Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on October 14th. My request was approved the next day on October 15th, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on October 17th via USPS and paid a total of $12.47.

Support Experience
- Customer service responded very quickly, and provided the return address in their first response!
- They offered a partial refund + keep the items instead of a return, and I rejected the offer.
- They asked that I include all original packaging, and email them the tracking number once I mail the return.

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would shop here again!
My expectations have been exceeded. While the shorts and jeans are a bit disappointing, I find the quality of the dress and sweater to be good, and the pricing seems to be fair. The sizing is a bit all over the place, unfortunately, but returns are domestic (in the U.S.) so they aren’t difficult or overly expensive. They are also upfront about their office and headquarters location in China, which I appreciate. The return process was very smooth. They gave me the return address in their FIRST response to my email, which is shocking. Most shops I encounter take weeks to get me the address. For future purchases, I would definitely rely on customer reviews to ensure the sizing is as expected, and I would probably stay away from purchasing any bottoms.
