Let’s get straight to the point. Is shopmotf.com (the workwear-focused clothing shop) a legit website? The short answer is yes, they are legitimate. I received my clothing order and successfully returned everything for a refund. Now the biggest question is, would I shop here again?

MOTF Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 10/25/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $166.18 to MOTF via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *SHOPMOTF”. – View Order Confirmation
1) Asymmetrical-Waist Suit Pants
- Color, Size, and Cost: Dusty Pink / L / $34.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: They are what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. They are a bit lighter in color in person.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality of the materials overall is okay, however, it is poorly constructed (the back seam is crooked among other things). See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return these MOTF pants.
While the overall weight and feel of these non-stretch pants are good, and the fit is great, these have a major flaw. The back seam is incredibly crooked. Not only that, but up close, I can see a lot of crooked sewing lines, loose threading, and areas that are sloppily put together. The metal button also just dangles there and looks like it will fall off/ rip off at any time. Overall, if the back seam were straight, I would consider keeping these since the other flaws aren’t noticeable unless you look closely.
2) Acrylic Relaxed-Fit Colorblock Sweater
- Color, Size, and Cost: Multicolor / M / $49.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 45.2% Acrylic / 39.9% Polyamide / 9.8% Wool / 5.1% Mohair
Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. Though it looks the way I expected, the material isn’t. They advertised this as an Acrylic sweater in the product title, but it ALSO contains animal materials like wool and mohair.

Keep or Return: I would return this MOTF sweater.
Firstly, I don’t purchase or wear clothing with animal products, so this is an automatic return. Secondly, despite feeling semi-soft, the material feels itchy on the skin. Thirdly, it’s a bit see-through. And finally, for how see-through and itchy it is, the price is not worth it.
3) Two-Tone Button-Detail Halter Tweed Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Multicolor / M / $44.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The skirt’s color is a bit paler in person.

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it is the right size, but not the right fit for my body shape. It is at least 1 inch too tight in the hips and 1-2 sizes too big in the bust. View my Body Measurements for size reference.
Keep or Return: I would return this MOTF dress.
Some positives are that it feels quite comfortable (the lining feels really soft on the skin), the material looks a bit sparkly in certain lighting due to the use of gold and reflective clear threading (I like this), the back skirt slit is a nice touch (you can cut the x-shaped thread to open it), and the contrasting white and beige coloring is flattering. Unfortunately though, since the hips and bust don’t fit me, I can’t wear this. This dress would be better suited for someone a bit smaller in the hips and bigger-chested.
4) Chain Decor Blouse
- Color, Size, and Cost: Dusty Blue / M / $24.99
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The blue color is a bit lighter in person.

Keep or Return: I would keep this MOTF blouse.
It feels comfortable despite being non-stretch (the inner lining is soft), the sleeve length is great, the half-pleated and half-chained look is unique, and it is overall well-fitting and perfect for any semi-formal/business event. The back seam is a bit crooked, but I don’t mind since I would most likely tuck this into pants or a skirt anyway. The metal chain is also a bit cheap, but I can overlook these flaws for the price.
Shipment Info
I received four items in one package at my address in North Carolina (United States). The package came from a warehouse/ distribution center in the United States. I was provided a tracking number, but the link didn’t work and I couldn’t see the tracking information. I had to go to Ship24 and copy and paste my tracking number to get the tracking status.

Return & Refund Info
I emailed support to request a full return on November 12th. My request was approved the next day on November 13th, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on November 17th via USPS and paid a total of $7.02.

Note: While they offer a prepaid return label option for a fee, I found that self-shipping is slightly cheaper. This cost will depend on how much you order and how heavy/large your return package is.

Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would probably shop here again.
While I am not blown away by the amazing quality or speedy shipping, I am not upset with my experience. The clothing is mostly of decent quality, I like the fit of some of the items, and the prices aren’t outrageous. I would be willing to give this shop another try!
