Are you among the many people who have stumbled upon rosewe.com but can’t decide if they’re trustworthy? Perhaps you’re hesitant to make a purchase, fearing that they may turn out to be a scam. Fret not, for we are here to address the burning question – is Rosewe a legit company? In this article, we will take a closer look at the company, starting from my own shopping experience, all the way to clothing reviews. Who is Rosewe? According to their About page, they are a reputable online store providing stylish apparel to fashion-conscious customers since 2011. Their wide range of designs includes options for everyone, regardless of body shape or personal style. Plus sizes are also available, ensuring customers enjoy the latest fashion trends. They listen closely to their customers and are always firmly focused on their needs, aiming to become the leading online fast fashion brand. Their professional designers create every unique piece of work based on market insights and fashion trends. They develop their own styles and bring the latest street fashion to their shop floor.
Brand FAQs
What is Rosewe’s seller name, and do they run any other online stores? The seller name shown on my PayPal account is Rosewe.com. Referencing the question below, they also operate Modlily (click on the linked brand to see my review). Interestingly, I asked Rosewe’s customer support about affiliation with Modlily, and they denied it several times. I then pointed out that both sites list the same legal business name, and THEN they said yes.
What is Rosewe’s legal business name? According to a marketing email, their legal business name is The Rosewe Group Ltd. According to their About page, HONGKONG RUJING E-COMMERCE CO., LIMITED is their legal business name. And finally, according to their Terms of Use page, they list Hongkong Yuzhen E-commerce Co., Limited as their legal business name. I am not sure why there are three legal business names associated with this shop.

What does Rosewe sell & do they carry plus sizes? They list categories for women’s swim, dresses, tops, jumpsuits, bottoms, jewelry, accessories, and more. They carry plus sizes up to 4XL (US 22W) in some clothing.
Where is Rosewe located & what is their business address? According to their FAQ page, they are located in China.
Where is Rosewe’s clothing made & where does their clothing ship from? Three out of four items in my order were made in China. The fourth item does not have a care label, so I cannot confirm. My package came from a warehouse in Cedar Grove, New Jersey (United States).

How long has Rosewe been in business? According to their About page, their business began in 2011. However, according to a domain age-checking tool, their website was created in 2013.
Is Rosewe a sustainable brand? Since they don’t state anything on their site regarding efforts in sustainability, or ways that they give back to the community, it is likely that they are not ethical and are fast fashion.

Return Policy
You have the option to return the item within 30 days of delivery. Only items in their original condition, without damage, stains, or wear, can be returned or exchanged. This excludes beach blankets, swimming rings, sunglasses, jewelry, and hair accessories.
The return process begins at the bottom of the return and refund policy page, where you click the Start a Return button. You can also log in and go to My Orders to begin the process. Follow the return instructions step by step to receive a return label. A fee of $9.99 will be deducted from the refund if customers choose to use the Rosewe return label. Note that they offer ‘Free Return Care’ meaning if you purchase this option (costs $3.99), the $9.99 shipping label will be free. Customers can also use their preferred shipping method and return the package to the address provided. Once Rosewe’s warehouse receives the return package, they will process the return or exchange within 7 working days.

What I Received
I received all four items in one package, and the package came from a warehouse in Cedar Grove, New Jersey (United States). The items match what is on my order confirmation email.

Return & Refund
- Return requested and approved: I completed a return request for all items via their return portal on July 4th. It was instantaneously approved, and I was provided a prepaid return label.
- Return package mailed: I mailed the package on July 5th.
- Courier, return cost, and destination: They provided a prepaid shipping label through USPS. I purchased their return care package during checkout for $3.99, so the prepaid label was free. The return address is in New Jersey (United States).
- Return received by Rosewe: According to the return tracking number, the package was delivered to Rosewe on July 8th. They did not send me an email letting me know it has been received.
- Refund received: I received $104.90 (full refund minus the shipping insurance cost, and the free return care cost I initially paid) to my Paypal on July 12th. (See image below)
Total time from request to refund: 8 days

- Material: The product page states – 97% Polyester; 3% Spandex. However, the care label states – 95% Polyester; 5% Spandex. The material on the inside feels like a thin rough t-shirt, and the outside is rough and a little bit scratchy. It is very stretchy and is not see-through.
❌ Their product page lists false information. It is not a huge deal in this case, but misleading nonetheless.

- Quality: The quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: It fits well. I followed the size chart.
- Value: This Rosewe dress is overpriced. I would pay $30 at the most.

- Material: 95% Polyester; 5% Spandex. It is very stretchy, somewhat thin, slightly rough to the touch, and not see-through.

- Quality: The quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a jumpsuit you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: It fits well. I followed the size chart.
- Value: This Rosewe jumpsuit is slightly overpriced. I would pay $30 at the most.

- Material: 82% Polyester; 18% Spandex. It is a thin, smooth, cheapish-feeling swimsuit material. The bottoms are only double-layered in the front half, not the back. It is not see-through.

- Quality: The quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a bikini you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: It fits well. I normally have issues with bikini bottoms cutting into my backside, creating a double butt appearance, but these don’t give me that problem. I followed the size chart.
- Value: This Rosewe bikini is fairly priced.

📦 Order Related
- Did the order arrive on time and as expected? Yes, the package arrived within the estimated time frame, and the items arrived as expected.
- Did they let you know when the items shipped and did they provide a tracking number? Yes, they sent me an email letting me know that the order was on the way. They provided the tracking number.
- What is the general quality of the items ordered? Based on my order, I would rate the general quality of Rosewe’s clothing 2-2.5 out of 5 stars, which is mediocre. In other words, the only way I would purchase this clothing is if it was cheaply priced.
- How accurate is the sizing based on the items ordered? Based on my order, the items are true to size. I referenced the size charts.
- Were there any issues or discrepancies with the payment? No, my PayPal was charged the expected amount.
- Does the clothing have brand tags and sufficient care label information? No, none of the items have Rosewe brand tags. Regarding the care labels, three of the four garments have standard care labels. The fourth garment does not have a care label attached.
📧 Support & Return Related
- Was the return request approved? Yes, it was approved instantly, through their return portal.
- Was customer service professional and easy to deal with? While I didn’t need to deal with them for the return since they have an automated return portal, I did reach out to them via instant chat. I asked about their affiliation with Modlily and they denied it numerous times. After mentioning that their legal business name was the same on both sites, they then said yes. That is pretty unprofessional and sketchy.
- Did customer service offer any return alternatives? I, unfortunately, cannot go back and see, but I believe they offered store credit as an option.
- What country is the return address in and what was the return cost? Referencing the prepaid return label provided to me, the return address is in Cedar Grove, New Jersey (United States). As for the return cost, I paid $3.99 at check out for free return care, so the prepaid return shipping was free.
- Was the refund successful? Yes, I received the full refund amount minus the return care cost I purchased and the shipping insurance charge.
- Did support reach out about any issues with the order? No, there weren’t any issues with the order.
🌐 Company & Site Related
- Are they sustainable? I do not believe that they are sustainable.
- Are their prices fair and are they affordable? Based on my order, I think they overall charge too much for the quality. Affordability-wise, the clothing is overall very affordable. The average cost of a top is around $24.
- Is there anything important to know regarding any of their policies? When placing an order, they charge an insurance fee. Also, beach blankets, swimming rings, sunglasses, jewelry, hair accessories, and items marked on their product page as “No returns or exchanges” are non-refundable.
- Do they offer free shipping and other discounts? Yes, they offer free shipping for over $69. They do have coupons available.
Final Verdict
In this section of the Rosewe review, I will answer whether this company is legitimate and if I recommend that others shop here. Keep reading for more! Note: If my purchased items arrive, I am able to return the items successfully, and I receive a refund in the agreed-upon amount, I am deeming the company legitimate.

In the spirit of honesty, this entire post is based on my personal experience, and does not guarantee the same results for you. I encourage you to do further research, and read reviews by other customers as well.
Is Rosewe Legit or a Scam?
Based on my experience, they are legitimate. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, was successfully approved for a return, and mailed the package. I received a full refund (minus the original shipping insurance cost and free return care option I opted for) on July 12th.
Do I Recommend Rosewe?
I have a mixed opinion. Starting with the positives: Their shop is overall fairly inexpensive, I received my items fairly quickly (it took 8 days), the return process was very fast and easy (they have an easy-to-use return portal that is instantaneous), I received my refund shortly after my return package delivered to them, their return address is domestic (in the United States), and they offer free shipping over a certain amount.
Now for the negatives: The quality of the clothing I received is pretty mediocre (if the prices matched the quality, I’d be okay with this but that was not the case for me), I found a lot of plagiarism such as About page content and what appears to be stolen reviews from other sites, some mismatching material composition information (discrepancy between what is listed on the site vs. what is shown on the tag), my interaction with their support team via their instant chat was really sketchy (they lied about not being affiliated with Modlily), they use AI altered images which can make it difficult to know what the clothing really looks like, and they likely are not sustainable due to their lack information about it.
Given this information, I personally would not shop here again due to their overall dishonesty as a company. However, if you are looking for fairly cheap, acceptable-quality clothing, you may be happy shopping here! I urge you to read as many reviews from customers as you can find, to make the best decision.
