My First Impression

After digging around their website, I’m not seeing anything that immediately jumps out as scammy, other than the use of some stock photos and a few low-quality images on their sustainability pages. Their pages seem well-written, I don’t see any obvious discrepancies, their images look cohesive and real, etc. – keep scrolling for a deeper dive!

Quince Review & Order Details

I ordered the below items on 10/21/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $235.54 to Quince (care@onequince.com) via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *QUINCE“. View Order Confirmation

1) Turtleneck Sweater

Brand Label: Quince

Color/Size/Cost: Heather Brown / M / $59.90

Country: Made in China

Material: 100% Organic Cotton

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits loosely, but is the right size. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is great – it is very heavyweight and feels durable. It is not extremely soft; it feels more like a sturdy, rougher cotton. It is still comfortable though! See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: It is worth the price and is a great staple to add to any closet!

2) Oversized Cardigan

Brand Label: Quince

Color/Size/Cost: Navy / M / $49.90

Country: Made in China

Material: 100% Organic Cotton

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. The pockets are a decent size (my whole hand can fit inside)! Also noteworthy, the ‘oversized fit’ is less oversized than I expected, considering how loose-fitting it is on the model. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is great. It is heavyweight and feels sturdy (has a rougher feel and isn’t extremely soft… but is still comfy). However, I did find a snag in the sleeve. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: It is worth the price!

3) Twill Cargo Pant

Brand Label: Quince

Color/Size/Cost: Charcoal / M / $49.90

Country: Made in China

Material: 52% Linen / 48% Organic Cotton

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit one size too small. These fit tighter in the hips than they do in the waist (they are non-stretch) – if I were to size up 1-2 sizes, they would comfortably fit over my hips, but the waist would probably gap. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is okay. I see some loose threads, threads that weren’t trimmed short enough, and subtle signs of pilling. The material is also cheaper-looking in person. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: It is NOT worth the price I paid.

4) Smocked Mini Dress

Brand Label: Quince

Color/Size/Cost: Terracotta / M / $59.90

Country: Made in China

Material: 100% Linen

Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. The sleeves are right on the edge of my shoulders but don’t feel like they will slide off. The smocked chest is comfortable, fits well, and allows you to go braless! Additionally, the sleeves are a great length, the elastic cuffs around the wrist are nice and roomy, and the overall length is short but still appropriate for most occasions. View my Body Measurements for size reference.

Quality: In my opinion, the quality is pretty good. The non-stretch material is a bit stiff, but it feels fairly well-made. The skirt part is SLIGHTLY translucent in direct light; you can see a bit of your silhouette, but not enough for it to be unwearable. See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.

Value: It is worth the price!

Customer Service Experience

Responsiveness

My experience was seamless, and I didn’t need to contact their support email for anything (including the return since it was done through their return portal). My return was approved and I was provided with the next steps instantaneously.

Return

The return portal requires that you select a reason for the return and you HAVE to add an additional comment. This was a bit annoying.

Do I Recommend This Shop?

Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.

With that being said, I would absolutely buy from them again! Here are my 4 reasons why:

  1. I am shocked at how good the overall quality is! Except for the cargo pants, everything else surpassed my expectations in terms of quality and fit.
  2. The prices are quite reasonable given the materials are organic and sustainably sourced.
  3. They offer a 1-year return window AND free returns – that is unheard of!
  4. It shipped to my house lightning-fast.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and shopping experience.
