About Natural Life
What is Natural Life?
They are a bohemian-inspired women’s clothing and home goods shop. The origins of the store stem from the founder’s mother who ran a small gift business. The passion for creativity was passed on to the founder, Patti Hughes, who enjoyed black and white photography. This interest evolved into the creation of a business, Natural Life Photography. Eventually, the products expanded beyond photography and included other homemade crafts. Natural Life aims to inspire people to discover their passions and talents, leading them to a fulfilling and joyful life.
Is Natural Life ethical?
No, they likely are not (in the clothing sense). They don’t state anything on their site regarding efforts in sustainability. However, they created their FEARLESS collection to reduce the stigma of anxiety disorders, supporting JACK Mental Health Advocacy with a portion of the proceeds. Renewing Dignity, an initiative combating period poverty receives support from Natural Life through sales of Period Pouches. Additionally, Natural Life aids H.E.A.L., a charity benefiting children with autism, and Girl Talk, a peer-to-peer mentoring program for girls. I can also confirm that my items arrived in 100% biodegradable packaging.

Natural Life Review and Order Details
I ordered the below items on 10/23/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $213.43 to Natural Life Collections, Inc. (support@naturallife.com) via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *NATURALLIFE”. – View Order Confirmation
1) 2-in-1 Cozy Poncho
- Color, Size, and Cost: Purple Mandala / One Size / $42
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 100% Polyester
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent. It is comparable to a poncho you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would keep this Natural Life poncho. The fabric is super soft and fuzzy, it feels very comfortable, it is versatile and can be worn with just about anything, and the colors are vibrant! It feels like wearing a warm, and thin blanket!
2) Patti Palazzo Pant
- Color, Size, and Cost: Tan Cream Floral / M / $59
- Country: Made in China
- Material: The product page states 65% Cotton, and 35% Rayon. The care label, however, states 49% Cotton, and 51% Rayon.
- Expectation: It isn’t quite what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The colors are softer, warmer, and more dulled in the product image. The ones I received are more harsh, and dark-looking. Also, each layer in the leg looks more puffed and pronounced on the model than they do on me.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. They are comparable to a pair of pants you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well (I could size up for a looser, and comfier fit). View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would return these Natural Life pants. While I do like the style of the non-stretch pants, and they fit pretty well, they are paper thin, the material feels cheap, and the color is not what I expected. I also see some loose threads in various places. I cannot believe they are charging $60 for these!
3) Reagan Thermal Henley
- Color, Size, and Cost: Slate Floral Blooms / M / $39
- Country: Made in China
- Material: 65% Polyester, 33% Rayon, and 2% Spandex
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent. It is comparable to a henley shirt you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits, but I would prefer a size down for a snugger fit. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would keep this Natural Life henley shirt if it were a size smaller. I love the soft and stretchy material, the way the seams are sealed (stylistic preference), and the pattern and color combination. One negative is that the shirt is a bit crooked (the back seam and the hem aren’t straight/symmetrical). While I would still wear this, I think this speaks to the quality of the top. With that being said, I think it could be a bit cheaper.
4) Stella Velvet Dress
- Color, Size, and Cost: Dark Floral Garden / M / $59
- Country: Made in China
- Material: The product page states 96% Polyester, and 4% Spandex. The care label, however, states 93% Polyester, and 7% Spandex.
- Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.
- Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Target or H&M.
- Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits a size too big. View my body measurements for size reference.
- Keep or Return: I would keep this Natural Life dress if it were a size smaller. The material feels stretchy, heavy, and velvety, the inside feels very smooth and non-scratchy, and I absolutely LOVE the slightly shimmery/metallic look to it! I think the dress style, and color are gorgeous. I also really appreciate that the back is longer than the front. I do see some unfinished seams and areas that need cutting, but these are only seen from the inside. I think it could be a bit cheaper, but I would still keep this since I love everything else about it!

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would shop here again!
To start with the negatives, these items are generally a bit pricey for the quality. If my items are part of one of the charity collections, I wouldn’t mind. However, none of my items are. The Palazzo pants, in particular, are 100% a rip-off. Also, two of the items are a bit misleading in terms of the material composition. They are different by a few percentage points, so not atrociously misleading, but they are discrepancies nonetheless.
As for the positives, excluding the pants, I am generally happy with the quality! I LOVE the Bohemian style and patterning, I appreciate the collections they have dedicated to specific charities, and I am pleased that the return process is easy and the return cost is fairly low. It is also worth mentioning that the order shipped EXTREMELY fast. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would buy from them again. However, I would not repurchase the pants or any items that are of a similar material composition.
