In this section of the review, I will be thoroughly reviewing each item I ordered and will provide detailed information about the shipment and return/refund process. Keep reading for more!

Review

I ordered the below items on 6/19/2023 to my address in North Carolina (United States). I paid a total of $91.97 to FASHCHIC Ltd (service@nfashionltd.com) via PayPal. The charge appears on my credit card statement as “PAYPAL *FABSHOP LTD”. – View Order Confirmation 

1) Hot Cotton Solid Pockets Vintage Linen Plus Size Casual Pants

  • Color, Size, and Cost: Black / XL / $25.99
  • Country: Made in China
  • Material: 100% Cotton
  • Description: These pants feel a bit rough, have no stretch, and are very thin and a bit transparent (though since they are black, shouldn’t be an issue with undergarments showing). The waist is elastic. 
  • Expectation: They are VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. On the model, the cuffs are more formfitting around the ankle. In person, they are more straight leg. The material also looks wildly different. In person, they are much crinklier and thin-looking.
  • Quality: In my opinion, the quality is terrible. They are comparable to pants you might find at one of those no-name stores at a strip mall.
  • Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and they fit well. View my body measurements for size reference.
  • Value: In my opinion, these pants are overpriced.

2) Button Solid Color Loose Long Sleeve Blouse

  • Color, Size, and Cost: Orange / S / $27.99
  • Country: Made in China
  • Material: The product page states – Polyester. However, the care label states – 100% Cotton. Their product page lists false information and is misleading.
  • Description: This top feels a bit rough, has zero stretch, and is thin, but not transparent. The top has 3 non-functional buttons.
  • Expectation: It is VERY different from what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The color is completely different, and the texture looks completely different. There is really nothing about this top that matches the product images other than the fact that it has 3 buttons.
  • Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a top you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
  • Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
  • Value: In my opinion, this top is overpriced.

3) Round Neck Ruffled Sleeves Floral Dress

  • Color, Size, and Cost: Yellow / M / $37.99
  • Country: Made in China
  • Material: The product page states – Chiffon. However, the care label states – 100% Polyester. Chiffon can be made of polyester, so this isn’t necessarily deceptive. However, they really should disclose the exact material listed on the care label.
  • Description: This dress has two layers: The outer layer and the inner lining. Both the inner and outer layers are a thin chiffon material (not see-through) and have no stretch. The dress has a chiffon belt and an elastic waist.
  • Expectation: It is not what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance. The pattern intensity and coloring are completely different. The scoop neck and hem of the skirt also fit/hang differently.
  • Quality: In my opinion, the quality is mediocre. It is comparable to a dress you might find at Charlotte Russe or Ross.
  • Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it fits well. View my body measurements for size reference.
  • Value: In my opinion, this dress is overpriced.

I received all three items in one package, and the package came from a warehouse in the United States. I was provided a tracking number.

  • Order shipped on Thurs, June 22nd
  • Order received on Fri, June 30th

Total time of 11 days

Return & Refund Info

I emailed support to request a full return on July 12th. My request was approved thirteen days later on July 25th, and I was provided with the return address. I mailed the package on July 26th via USPS and paid a total of $6.92. 

I received a full refund of $91.97 on August 26th. I received the refund thirty days after mailing the package. – View Refund Receipt

Customer Support Experience

  • They were pretty slow to respond, and I had to send a follow-up email. I had to ask SIX times for the return address and wait a whole two weeks before getting it.
  • They also offered me the option to accept a partial refund and keep the items. They initially offered a 20% refund, then upped the amount to 35%, then 50% before giving the return address.
  • Once they received my return package, they tried to deduct $10 from my refund for the shipping cost, despite the fact that I got free shipping on the order. (I discuss this more in the following sections)

Is Curve Ladies Legit or a Scam?

  • Most of their product images appear to be heavily photoshopped.
  • There are many grammatical typos and nonsensical words such as ‘ss2023’, which is one of their category names. This could be indicative of an overseas-run shop.

Do I Recommend Curve Ladies?

Based on my experience, they are a legitimate company (with a caveat). I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund. I would like to very importantly point out that while I eventually got the refund, it was NOT easy. I got free shipping on my initial order, and AFTER I already mailed the items back to them, they tried to deduct a $10 shipping fee from my refund. I had to argue with them over email for several days, demand a full refund, and threaten them with a claim before they agreed to the original refund amount.

With that being said, I personally would not shop here again.

Although the clothing is generally affordable, and arrived within a reasonable time, ALL THREE of my items do not look like their product images. The quality looks way better in the product images, the coloring is quite a bit off in person, and the material looks different compared to the product images. Additionally, the prices are too expensive for how low quality the clothing is, and they falsely advertise the material composition (among other things). Their customer service is also subpar, as I had to ask for the return address SIX times and wait two weeks to get it, and per the above paragraph, they tried to deduct money from my refund.

If you choose to shop here, always shop with caution. I urge you to read reviews by other customers as well.
