1) Love Everlasting White Floral Lace Mermaid Maxi Dress
Brand Label: Lulus
Color/Size/Cost: White / M / $129

Material:

Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. The inner lining shows more than I thought it would.
Quality: In my opinion, the quality is decent, but it is constructed poorly (the inner lining doesn’t line up well behind the lace layer). See my Quality Comparison & Rating Chart to know my current quality-rating standards.
Fit: I ordered based on the size guide provided, and it is the right size but it is not the right fit for my body shape. The top section is half a size too big, the waist fits well, and the hips area is 1-2 sizes too tight. View my Body Measurements for size reference. Please note that I am wearing 3.5 inch/8.9cm heels.
Keep or Return: I would return this Lulus mermaid dress.
Though I like the bust area (the heart-shaped cut and the see-through lace neckline), the fact that I can go braless, and the sturdy-feeling outer lace, I have a few issues with this dress. Firstly, the inner lining feels cheap. It also is unfortunately visible in the slit area (which it should not be). Secondly, the fit is off. The top is a bit loose (some of the lace doesn’t lay flat as a result), and the lower hip area is much too small (it flattens my curves, and makes it a bit uncomfortable to move around). And finally, the lace is a bit sloppy. Some areas aren’t cut properly, some parts aren’t sewn symmetrically, etc. This can be overlooked though since it isn’t immediately noticeable.
Ultimately, this dress is not a great fit for my hourglass/pear-shaped figure.
2) Elegant Confidence Teal Satin Flutter-Sleeve Cutout Maxi Dress

Expectation: It is exactly what I was expecting in terms of overall appearance.

Keep or Return: I would return this Lulus maxi dress.
I LOVE the fit, style, and flowyness of this dress. It is also very soft/comfortable, easy to move around, and generally VERY flattering on my body. Unfortunately, though, it is extremely static-inducing. Whenever I move, the flowy shoulders suction to my arms, and it looks strange and feels irritating. There is also some dimpling in the material, especially noticeable at the end of the two seams on each side of the center back seam. I suspect this could be fixed with a little ironing/steaming, but not sure if these areas are permanently overstretched.
Overall, if it didn’t create SO much static, I would keep it.
3) Dramatic Dynamic Blue Sequin Off-The-Shoulder Maxi Dress

Expectation: It is what I was expecting, for the most part, in terms of overall appearance. It is a bit darker-colored in person.

Keep or Return: I would return this Lulus sequin dress.
The dress is beautiful (I love sequins and shiny things), and easy to move around in since the fabric is stretchy, but this dress ultimately is not a comfortable fit. Firstly, it seems to fit everywhere except for the upper back. There is a bit of excess/bunching fabric (going down a size would be too small). Secondly, as expected, the arms are very constricting when you move them. When I raise my arms in front of me, it feels like the sleeves are cutting off my circulation. Thirdly, the sequins feel scratchy. The area where this is the biggest problem is my underarms. If I move my arms without lifting them away from the fabric, it feels like sandpaper rubbing on my skin and giving me a rash.
Overall, this is a beautiful dress perfect for the occasional formal event, but I am not comfortable with how scratchy the sequins feel on my skin.

Do I Recommend This Shop?
Based on my experience, they are a legitimate shop. I paid for my items, received them within the estimated time frame, successfully completed a return, and received a full refund.
With that being said, I would give this shop another try.
Though none of the dresses in my order worked out due to being ill-fitting or made of uncomfortable/less-than-ideal material, I would be willing to try again. The overall quality is decent, the delivery was incredibly fast, and returns are easy and free! There isn’t much to lose in this case if I don’t like the next round of items. I would recommend paying attention to product reviews if there are any, to help prevent any fitting issues.
